Thought I better write another one of these! It really did need updating.

So recently I've started Art Foundation, it's going really well, quite enjoying it.

Photography slowed down for a while, but now I've started to pick up speed again

Well, I'll try to write this more often now, we will see if that actually happens!

Right, well all my Art Foundation applications have been sent off now...just gotta wait for some replies! But in all honesty I hope I get into Portsmouth and can just do the photography degree without having to do Art Foundation haha!
Apart from that though....been a pretty ordinary week so sorry viewers not much to tell, but do have a look at this weeks feature!

Ive been having a go with my new lens, and i have to say, the macro function on it is seriously impressive. Ive been getting some lovely clear, crisp images with it. Once Ive got some that I really really like, Ill upload them for all to see.

As you keen eyed viewers may have noticed I have used a new journal layout and skin

I found this when I was browsing DD's and I thought that it looked great, especially as im a Beata Tester and have the new layout

Ive also been invited to go to an interview to study a photography degree at Portsmouth!
eeeep I've gotta start putting together a portfolio of up to 30 images with varying styles and subjects.
I'm kinda nervous, cause if i got accepted there it would be I wouldn't have to do an Art Foundation Diploma and would, in theory, save a year of my life! haha....
Well... its not till the 12th of March so ive still go a while to sort everything out, but still, wish me good luck guys! teehee

My new lens arrived today too! Its a Sigma 70-300mm and its funktastic

gonna go for a test run tommorow with it, fingers crossed for a loverly sunset

Im going to start a weekly feature too. This will simply be, me choosing a word and finding the newest and best representations of it

Layout + FEATURE

Well, today the Beta Testers got to try out the new profile thingymabob, which personally i think is quite nice, the only downside in my opinion is the colour sceme....Its too light

Cargo

Im just about to go to Cargo (A furniture store place)to do a practice photo shoot of some of their spring/summer products...

And if they think Im good enough I get to go back there during the half term and shoot more products to be used in their catalogue, press releases and on the website! AHHHH! They want me to do all the lighting and things aswell.... I'm not too experieneced with lighting and things, but I shall try my best!
